Before reaching at the prayer hall, there was a big wooden gate called Shin-Mon. Like other worshipers, I walked the wide approach and headed for the hall. The Imperial crests of the chrysanthemum were on the door. And a Torii standing in front of the prayer hall was seen at the end of the approach.
By the way, this gate was designed by Itō Chūta, a famous architect who also designed Tsukiji Honganji.
