The boy looked at me blankly
A straw was in his hand. Yet there was anything to drink. He might have finished drinking already. And he was twiddling the straw. Maybe he had not drunk enough. The humid weather continued here. Being outside, the weather made people thirsty soon.
When he noticed me, he stopped twiddling and started to look straight at me with a blank face. But he seemed to drop interest soon. He glanced aside and twiddled again.
