The gate in this photo was 'Shinmon'. This big gate built in 1934 stood at the midpoint of the main approaching way. So you have to go through this gate to visit the prayer's hall of this shrine. The Imperial crest of the chrysanthemum which was 1.5m in diameter was attached to its big wooden door. It was shinning in the soft sunlight.

Although it sometimes happens that to make a visit by politicians become problems, the shrine was calm at the time of visiting.
