Until recently, this place where I took this photo was covered by the elevated bridge of the Toyoko Line and was dimly lit. It was so dark that it was a little scary to walk around after dark, even though it was very close to Shibuya station. But that was a long time ago. With the relocation of Shibuya Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line, the sun has come to shine on this spot as well.

It was a familiar sight, but just the presence of the sun gave it a fresh feeling. There was still an elevated bridge of the Toyoko Line that hadn't been in use for very long, but it would probably be removed soon. As I stopped to look at the viaduct, I saw a bicycle riding on the other side of the road.
