The man was selling mangoes
The man wearing a lungi was sitting neatly on the sidewalk. He was a street vendor and selling mangoes there. Mangoes were piled up in the basket placed in front of him. Mango was cheap and a bit cliched here.
It was said that this country was the 9th largest producer of mangoes in the world. So it was common to see such street vendors for the locals. Most of the pedestrians didn't stop walking. This might be why the man Had a sick look on his face.
