The man stopped working and struck a pose
A truck was parked by the roadside. And a man who tied a cloth around his head was crouching by a wheel of the truck. He seemed to be just repairing the truck. He could be busy.
Nevertheless, he stopped working when he noticed me. Besides, he stroke a pose with a serious the face when I focused on him. He might think he was not supposed to work. Anyway, I couldn't know whether the repair proceeded smoothly from his behavior.
