The man asked me for taking photos
While walking through the city of Berhampore, a friendly man spoke to me. He asked me to take a photo of him. When I looked through the viewfinder as he asked, I saw a slightly smiling man who seemed to wear a bit proud look. I'm glad to see that he enjoyed having his photo taken.
When I walk around the city in India, I sometimes get asked to take a photo. I don't feel bad about being asked to do so. But what's strange is that even if I take a picture, almost no one cares about the result. Just because they have photos taken, they don't care how it looks like. If I had taken a picture with a film camera, though, I wouldn't be able to show it to them even if they asked me to.
