The lawn of Maidan spread out before the man with the bag on his back
I saw a man walking on the grass. Perhaps because it was a weekday, there were no people around the man. The man with the bag on his back was walking alone towards the spacious lawn.
Looking at this photo alone, it seemed as if the man was leaving for the savannah. But this place was a park called Maidan, located in the center of Kolkata. It is almost in the center of one of India's largest cities with a population of 4 million.
Unfortunately, there is no new world spreading out beyond this lawn. It's just a bunch of buildings that look like they could be anywhere.
