The stubbly man approached me
I was standing in Malda along the main road when a thin-cheeked man approached me. There are not many foreign tourists in this city. That's why I seem to attract people's attention, even though I am not doing anything to stand out. Foreigners are rare, and those who are curious are approached me. The same was true of the person in this photo.
The man who approached me on his own, curious, said something, but unfortunately I couldn't understand what he was saying. He looked annoyed and grim, as if he couldn't understand the language.
