Boys in ties were playing cricket on the road
When you walk through the streets in India or Sri Lanka, you may see people playing cricket on the streets. This is because cricket is a popular sport in both countries. Cricket is not so familiar in Japan, but it is estimated that there are about one billion fans worldwide, 90% of which are Indians.
Here in Kolkata, I saw some boys enjoying cricket on the streets. They must have just finished school. They were playing in their school uniforms. One of them noticed my camera and smiled with his mouth wide open.
