The man stayed motionless on the chair on the other side of the gate
As I walked through the streets of Kolkata, I saw a door that was half-open. Beyond the door was a pathway that led to an alleyway. I was tempted to go in, but I guessed that this was someone's house.
I looked through the door and saw a plastic chair, and a man with a depressed mood was sitting alone in it. He was either depressed or looking down, and he was still. I didn't know what happened, but I want to believe that tomorrow will be different from today. I didn't say a word to the man, but I just hoped that the gloom would dissipate tomorrow.
