The boys gathered around me, their mouths half open, looking into the camera
Children playing on the streets are very discerning. Such was the case with the boys playing on the streets of Kolkata. When they saw me walking around with my SLR camera, they immediately gathered around. Cameras are still a rarity in this area, and being photographed is an unusual behavior. When a foreigner is walking around with a camera, they can't find a reason not to gather.
The boys who gathered looked into the camera with great interest. All the boys looked happy and their mouths were half open. They were shouting something in their mouths, but it was a little boring that I couldn't understand what they were saying.
