A woman walked the deserted approach
The main approach of this shrine was deserted. A woman was walking ahead me. She was putting a sunshade up and heading for the prayer hall. On the other side of her, a Torii stood. And the prayer hall was seen through the Torii.
It was a clear day and the precinct was silent. It could be a nice place to stroll about. Yet it might also happen to meet the spirits of the war dead enshrined here. It was also a warm day for them.
