I found a small general store in the middle of a row of houses in Mumbai. In Mumbai, where convenience stores are not common, these kinds of shops play a role like a convenience store, and you can find this kind of small shops here and there in this country. In this shop, as in the other shops, there were several small bags of shampoo hanging from the eaves.

As I looked into the store, I saw a woman in a saree sitting there. She was staring at my camera from inside the dimly lit store. And at the front of the store, a girl sitting in a chair with a grim face turned to me. It's a contrast to the look of fun on the faces of the women in the store. And besides the grim-faced girl, a few other kids were hanging out in front of the general store, looking at me with each expression on their faces.
