The arch in the photo is from the Shrabilin Mosque in Fez el-Bali, Morocco. The entrance arch was beautifully decorated with tiles not only on the pillars but also on the floor. It reminds me of how prosperous Fez used to be, which nowadays has a strong image as a tourist city.

Although there are many mosques in the old city, unfortunately, pagans are not allowed to enter. In other countries, many mosques are open to visitors during non-prayer times, but in Morocco, all mosques are off-limits to infidels. On the other side of the entrance stood a man wearing a jellaba, looking at me.
