There was a food stall on the side of the road in Dhaka, where cycle rickshaws were whizzing by. A large pot was set up and a young man was standing beside it. He was making fried food. When I held up my camera, he had just finished frying and was pulling the ladle out of the pot.

When I looked inside the ladle with interest to see what had been made, I found that what had been pulled out was Shingara. Shingara is a Bengali samosa. It is a very common street food in Bangladesh.
