The bearded man frowned
I was walking in Dhaka when a man with a beard approached me. When I'm walking in India and Bangladesh, I'm often approached by people. There are two main types of people who call out to me: those who are curious to see an unfamiliar foreigner walking around with a camera, and those who see me wearing a watch and want to know the time. This person was the former.
If a stranger was walking by, he would talk to the stranger as if he couldn't help but start to talk, but I couldn't communicate with him because of the language. That was surprising to the man, but what I saw through the viewfinder was a face that seemed to feel somehow different from what he had expected.
