Shot in Bodhnath. A prayer wheel is a cylindrical 'wheel' on a spindle made from metal, wood, stone, leather, or even coarse cotton. Traditionally, the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum is written in Sanskrit externally on the wheel.
ボダナートで撮影。マニ車の側面にはマントラが刻まれており、内部にはロール状の経文が納められている。回転させた数だけ経を唱えるのと同じ功徳があるとされている。
