Three boys were doing their homework together, forehead to forehead on the side of the road
Three boys were hanging out by the side of the road in the old city of Bhaktapur. While many loclas were just sitting around with nothing to do, these three had a clear purpose. Apparently, they were gathered together to do their homework. One of them had a notebook in his hand to write down. When I pointed the camera at them, all three of them smiled at me.
In the old town of Nepal, I often see not only these boys but also children doing their homework on the street. They may be studying on the side of the road because there are no family restaurants, coffee shops, or fast food restaurants where they can casually go. In any case, they do not seem to study in the house.
