Judging by his appearance, the boy appeared to be Tibetan
A young man standing in front of me in Bhaktapur had a puzzled look on his face. Judging from his appearance, he seemed to be a Tibetan. There are many Tibetans in the Kathmandu Valley where Bhaktapur is located. I often see them when I walk around town. Kathmandu is also home to a Tibetan Buddhist holy site.
However, most Tibetans have not always lived in Nepal. Many of them moved to Tibet after the annexation of the country by the People's Republic of China. Moreover, it seems that many are still being dislocated every year.
