Women wearing conical hats were processing freshly landed fish
As I walked along a boarded-up alleyway along the riverside in My Tho, I heard voices coming out of nowhere. As I searched for the source of the voices, I came upon a place where women wearing conical hats were working. This appeared to be a landing place, with piles of freshly landed fish on the floor.
The women who were cutting the guts out of the landed fish with scissors were a bit surprised by the sudden appearance of the gentiles. But they didn't seem alarmed. They were laughing at me and continuing to work. The workplace full of smiling faces looked very happy.
