Some boys played with a ball in the lane
In an alleyway in Ben Tre, three boys were playing with a ball. When they noticed me, they stopped playing and looked at me. Their faces were smiling, but they seemed to be a little surprised by the sudden intrusion.
In South Asia, there are a lot of children playing outside with their upper bodies naked but not many around here. No matter how hot it was, many children wore something on top.
I looked towards the back and saw an altar. I could see Chinese characters written on it, so there must be a lot of overseas Chinese living around here. Indeed, the faces of the three boys also looked like East Asians.
