The tattoo was seen on her arms
Older women in this province are tattooed on their arms. This was an endemic folkway. The meaning is 'beautiful'. An older woman I met in the village acquired a tattoo also. Both of her arms were filled with the tattoo.
Yet the most interesting thing for me was not the tattoo. Surprisingly, she didn't mind to be seen her upper body. Even I approached her, she didn't move and kept relaxing. To be seen naked body seemed not to be an embarrassing thing for the old locals.
