The girl was staring at my camera as if she thought it was unusual to see a foreigner

From Vigan, I took a short trip to Barangay Camanggaan. I didn't have any particular reason to come. I just came here for some reason. The village was tranquil, and even walking along the main street, there was just a relaxed atmosphere in the air.

As I walked along, I noticed a girl behind a fence that stood to the side. When she noticed me, she came over to the fence and sat down. She put her hand on the fence, and with a bottle opener in her hand, she began to stare at me with a challenging look in her eyes. It was as if he was trying to assess me, a stranger and a foreigner, from above. Since I was behind the wire fence, I couldn't go to the girl. I guess he felt safe enough to take a strong stance against a stranger.

By the way, a barangay is the smallest local self-governing unit that makes up a city or town in the Philippines, and is a Filipino word that means village or district. In other words, Barangay Camanggaan, where this photo was taken, means Camanggaan Village.
