Various vegetables were displayed on the street
I was walking through the shopping district of Andong. The street was paved with tiles and stores lined up on both sides of the street. It was a bit of a neat and tidy shopping street. But if you look out into the street, there are people doing business here who are probably not at all compatible with the atmosphere that the people in the mall wanted to create. At the edge of the street were older women.
The women who had taken their places were laying out their vegetables on the ground. They were selling vegetables in the middle of a trendy shopping street. Green onions, cucumbers, and various other vegetables were seen. In the midst of all the apparel stores, this was the only one that looked like a farmer's market.
