The silhouetted woman played a flute in the Lingering garden
There was a woman playing a musical instrument in the garden of the World Heritage Site of Lingering Garden in Suzhou. The building was dimly lit and the woman playing the instrument was silhouetted.
The sound of the flute played by the woman echoed through the building. It was a performance to create an atmosphere of yesteryear, but there were many other tourists in the garden besides me. It was difficult to put them aside and just concentrate on the sound of the flute. If I'm not good at it, it looks like a cheap attraction.
In principle, this is a communist country. As I listened to the sounds, I wondered if the woman playing the flute was also a civil servant, and I wondered what it was all about.
