The boy and the girl never approached me, but looked at me from a distance
While wandering around the maze of residential streets, I came across a boy and a girl. They were standing together at the doorway of a house that stood in a dimly lit alley that stretched into the residential area of Kandy. It seemed that they had heard a rumor about a strange foreigner walking around with a camera in his hand, and they had come too. My appearance seemed to be causing a bit of a commotion in the residential neighborhood full of alleys.
The girl looked surprised when I pointed the camera at her, while the boy calmly looked at the camera. In any case, the two did not approach me and watched me from a distance.
