Many people were on its luggage carrier running the city of Muang Sing
As I walked along the gravel road that stretches through the center of Muang Sing, a truck full of men arrived. The truck was packed. There were people on the roof of the driver's seat as well as the back of the truck. They smiled and waved at me as they passed by.
Judging from their appearance, they seemed to be Chinese, not Laotians. There was Chinese writing on the side of the door. Perhaps these men were laborers from mainland China. Here in northern Laos, Muang Sing is not far from the Chinese border. When you go north from this city, you can reach the Chinese border soon.
