The gate was on the top of the stairway
The main hall of this shrine stood on the top of this steep stairway. And many worshipers were climbing the staircase. Among them, I found a cluster of the school girls. They were also climbing the stone stairway to pray.
There was a gate on the top of the staircase. The main hall of this shrine was on the other side of the gate. I thought the exalted ruler was always stationed on the higher place.
