There was a statue with a grim face standing at Hasedera Temple in Kamakura. He was holding up his outstretched right hand, and in his palm was a small pagoda. It seemed to indicate that a precious pagoda is not easy to obtain for ordinary people.

However, to me, who does not know about Buddhism well, he looked like an angry father taking away a toy from his child. He took the toy away from the child and said with a scary look on his face.
