A woman put an umbrella up in the lane
A straight, narrow road stretched through the residential area of Tsuyama. Low-rise houses stood on either side of it. And at the end stood a telephone pole. Several wires ran overhead, seemingly tangled and untangled.
I saw a woman in a plaid skirt walking down such an alleyway. She was walking with a black umbrella. I didn't know where this alleyway was leading to, as I'm passing by. But this woman seemed to know exactly where she was going. Without hesitation, she was walking straight to the end of the alley.
