At the entrance of the precinct, a wooden gate with the tiled roof stood. You can see the main building of this shrine on the other side of the gate. A rope which signified the purity of the hall was hung on the facade.
During watching, I noticed one thing. It might be uncommon to see a gate at the entrance of the Shinto shrine. Usually, a gateway called Torii stood at the entrance. Yet there were no such gateways here.
