I could see a magnificent building, but the main shrine of Kotohiragu was still a ways away

I entered into the precinct. The main hall of this shrine was built on the top of the mountain. So it was necessary to climb a long stone stairway to reach. In little time, I found a wooden architecture.

This building was built in 1837. Though it had an air of dignity, it was not the main hall of this shrine. It was said that some people went back to the city after praying at this hall because they got the wrong idea about the main hall of this shrine.
