The train was captured in the round mirror posted at Shimabara Station
The atmosphere at Shimabara Station was long and quiet. There were not many trains because it was a local train. I was waiting on the platform for one of the few trains to come. The platform was so quiet that I wondered if the train would actually come, but as the time for the train approached, local people began to arrive at the platform.
An old lady was among them. The old lady was also crossing over the tracks to come to the platform. A large round mirror hung beside the pathway across the tracks. And in the mirror was the train that the grandmother was about to board.
