A steep staircase led up to the main gate of Ikegami Honmon-ji Temple
A long steep stairway was at the entrance of this temple which was built in 1282. Anyone who wants to enter the precinct have to climb this staircase with 96 steps. I thought it was a hard to not only older people but also young people.
During I watched, an old man appeared and started to climb. He slowly climbed up stairs. After he reached to the top of the stair, I started to climb this stairway determinedly.
