Nice photo again!

Looks like it could have been taken 50 years ago or last week :)

I love the pattern of the paving stones. It reminds me of some woodcuts by Frans Masereel from the book "The City".

Such a charming street you discovered!! That old stone road begs to be walked. Awesome capture!

Your special blend of history, character and the human touch.

Really a nice shot! Ancient and modern in the same place, to obtain a scene without time.

Such a nostalgic photo. The boy (i assume) walking down the path makes the picture. i might want to crop off the overexposed sky though. :)

This really feels like old Kyoto. Great atmosphere. I especially like the way you got the road opening up from the center of the frame. Beatuful shot. I'd love to see this place myself sometime soon.

Love the DOF, draws the eye down the road. Nice work.

fantastic photo! very nice composition and perspective.

Great textures. Without the technology in the sky, it would be hard to place this in time.

Beauitfully composed, perfect framing...well done...8/10

This is fantastic! The eye is led right down the middle of the road, and the child gives scale and human interest as well. Looks like a nice place to visit.

Beautiful composition.
The man/woman alone give to the picture a particular atmosphere.

I took thi shot in the early morning. There are many visitors in the daytime. Because this street is one of the feature place in Kyoto. :-)

Is that really what it looks like in Kyoto??

Very nice shot - great perspective, and judging by the comments it must've been a rare find!

I really love this, great textures and lines. Feels like another era. This is the Japan I envisage!

nice photo...i like it...nice composition...this is in japan ?

This work leads my eyes directly to the running person, it may be a boy. The street underlines this. The old houses to the left and to the right give a very cool frame for this situation. What I like in this image is that there is a contrast between the old, unmoving houses and the running, moving person. I think a cropping on the top could add some more focus on the person, the trees and the sky arent very important for the whole picture [in my opinion]. ...
You have taken a special photo and its worth to be noticed as unusual in the big ocean of images all over the web !

Thanks Mooch, Marius and Martin!!!
I took this shot in the ancient capital, Kyoto. Old streets are remained in there.
