About this photo

Shot at Tohuku-ji, a Buddhist temple in Kyoto. There are several Japanese style gardens in the precinct of this temple. The garden called 'Hojo East Garden' in the photo is one of them. The ground is covered with stones and seven cylinders are placed. These cylinders expressed Triones. And the entire cosmos is shown with stones on the ground.

The size of the cylinders is different from each other. Yet the actual luminance of the Triones are almost same. It is said that the difference is the originality of the architect.
