The cat was taking a nap in the shade
The city was painted in white. The walls, the buildings and the streets were white. So it was too bright to walk around under the sun.
I thought the situation was same for human beings and animals. When I rambled along the streets, I found a cat. The snoozing cat was relaxing in the shade on the white steps. It seemed to avoid the sun to sleep comfortably because it was too bright. It was even more so for the nocturnal animals.
