Very clever, though i'd have been tempted to switch the focal points? Or even try it with a smaller DOF and have it all in focus?
Maybe not... ;)

Wow - this is very striking, it took me a moment to work it out! I thought it was a photo of a man in a chair with little cut-outs in front of him in the rss thumbnail! Clever :)

After I scrolled down to see the whole image, it took me a sec, like cat, to put it all together. Great visual play!

advertising never ceases to amaze...great clash of cultures!

> MMM said : Jul 27, 2006 23:07

I wondered why the photo of the guy in the chair had a seam down the middle of it...And then I scrolled down!! Neat shot.

Good composition; I think it work with everuthing, the poster, ot the foreground people in focus.

I really like your treatment of this. Great eye.

Thanks Deano, Cat, Micki, Doodlehedz, MMM, Robert and Jonathan!!
Umm. Though I wanted to focus all the part of photo, I couldn't....

I love this shot, the focus is unique and very cool.

> 6oh said : Jul 28, 2006 05:03

love this shot, took me a few seconds to put it together in my head. I love the focus on the billboard, makes it a different perspective than the musicians in focus. its like the guy in the ad was enjoying the panfluters :)

Haha, this made me laugh for some reason. Nice shot.

Thanks Craig, 6oh, David, Paolo and Shashwat!!!
They came from south america and their music was very exotic for me. :-)

buena foto. El contraste entre el mundo imaginado y deseado de la publicidad frenteal mundo real produce siempre extrañas escenas. Más en este caso, estando la realidad desenfocada... saludos desde españa

good photo. The resistance between the world imagined and wished of the frenteal publicity real world produces always strange scenes. More in this case, being the defocused reality… greetings from Spain

Very clever shot here.. I was confused at first about the picture. Great, interesting photo.

Blimy, this one really confuses the brain. Once I got my head around it, I realised just how cleaver it is.

Excellent work.

I like the triangle linking the eyes of the three figures, making me look up & down the picture. I also like the traditional Japanese performers in front but with a British (western) actor in the background.

> tetsu said : Aug 3, 2006 09:07

Thanks Howard!!
But... the performers are coming from south america...

> slowdown said : Aug 14, 2006 16:54

Hi Tetsu ! I like this shot, who looks at who? Qui regarde qui ?

> tetsu said : Aug 15, 2006 07:43

Thanks Slowdown!!
The man in the bill looked at musicians. :-)
