A classic Tetsu shot with a full cast of characters in costume. I like the ‘interchange’ feel about it : downward, forward, left and right vectors . . all so purposeful in that little frame.
Interesting combination between the compostion and the excellent use of DOF. I want this to hang on my wall. Really. Can you send me an email and we'll find some way to arrange that it will actually end up on my wall? =)
I found your blog through your kind comment in my Duesseldorf blog.
Because of working for a Japanese Company since years I have a higly affinity to Japanese culture.
I like your photography a lot and added your blog directly to my blogroll.
Specially this picture (but also many others) is outstanding. It is well balanced and the mirroring on the right provides an additional, interesting layer.
I like how the focus is on the guy at the rear passing the entrance! cheers :)
You were in the business district for this one? Everyone is dressed for success. Great shot!
Thanks David and Micki!!
I was a stranger in that place... :-)
Perfectly captures my feelings about the claustrophobia of urban Japan. 最高!
Superb.
Thanks Leeroy and Gavin!!
I am not claustrophobia but acrophobia. :-P
