as always love the story within your every photos and this one is very contrast. the monk vs original people...

The focus and DOF on this is perfect. I love the light, shadows and detail of the robe - I feel like I can reach out and touch it. Beautiful.

I liked Micki's comment, I thought he was texting someone or perhaps playing on his Gameboy. Nice tension between tradition and modern culture.

Hi Tetsu, I have been away getting married and haven't been by for a week... And look at the shots I've missed.
I like the focus on him but do you have any of his face? I like the question presented by him here, now and would like to see his eyes. Is he a young monk or older with great wisdom... ponder the possibilities... hmmm...

Umm. I didn't shoot his face.... He was a middle-aged monk. :-)
