Amazing shot!Lovely one - really gets you thinking about what she's thinking.GREAT GREAT SHOT!

Yes, I agree with Azhar : it is not so much what we see but what we start thinking and that is the power of these photographs. Very enjoyable.

The lighting that seems to fall on her alone adds such a special mood to this photo. I like he she is placed all the way to the left of the frame to leave us some unanswered questions.

I like the way the picture gives the sense of solemnity and silence. The way she holds her hands and stands straight denoting respect and meditation. I will bookmark you right now

Thank you so much, Carlos!!

what is she waiting for?

> おーとも said : May 4, 2006 08:28

後ろの方の男性も気になりますねぇ。
それにしてもテツさんは色んな所へ良くいかれるのですね。テツさんの目を通して沢山の素敵な世界を拝見できて大変嬉しく思います☆

She was waiting for her boyfriend, I guess. :-)

I find there's often real thought and meaning in your shots which is something I can learn from. great framing too.

Good one, Tetsu.
I know you couldn't control it, but if the lady was positioned at the far right side of the photograph, I think it would be much better. But, that's just me being picky. :-)

> tetsu said : May 6, 2006 19:47

Thanks Hndra!!
You might be right. :-)

Great Shot.
It is impressive composition although it is an ordinary scene. Stillness atmosphere.

> tetsu said : May 7, 2006 08:55

Thanks Kleinelinse!!
The precinct of the shrine was filled with stillness. :-)

神社はすごいきれいですね。この女の人の顔を見ると気持ちが感じられるという漢字だね。で、こういう写真ではモノクロはぴったりですね。

(ところで、私の日本語が下手だから許してください。)

Stardog Championさん、ありがとうございます!!
モノクロ写真だと奥深さが勝手に出てきて好きです...。
