Shot on Nihonbashi bridge. It is the point from which Japanese people measure distances: highway signs that report the distance to Tokyo actually state the number of kilometers to Nihonbashi. 日本橋の上で撮影。日本橋は日本の道路網の始点となっている。
wonderful shot...well, where to begin: I love the bright light intruding into the shot on the left, but then you get a nice white spot (bag) in the middle and of course the guy bent over (sweeping ?) with the white cap, dragons are cool and then you get a bit of reflection off the bottom of the bridge...the more you look, the more you find, thank you for the visual fun (as always)
Very interesting shot. I like the composition. Nice juxtapositioning of the old Nihonbashi and the new overpasses above it. I will have to visit here when I go back to Tokyo.
The streets were busy this day, great shot of all those people going on with their day. I wonder if they notice the wonderful scene behind them. Lovely shot.
There is probably a lot of thing to look at, but the format is really to small for me, we cannot appreciate details and expressions of the characters :)). Anyway, the photo look cool ;)
Another engaging ‘reality’ shot which rewards close inspection. Johnz has rightly been thorough on the detail but I am struck, too, by the contrast between the heavy, solid, unmoving environment and the bustle of the figures. A lovely mix, lovely photograph.
Wow, modern bridges with a wonderful old lantern.

Again a very nice shot with a great 'feel' to it I now look forward to your posts.
nice capture Tetsu
Really nice! I see it a bit too dark, though...
移転計画(首都高の方)どうなっちゃうのでしょう?
高架下の面もとても綺麗ですね。
Artist photography in motion. Exquisite

great wide shot full of people and environment.
You definitely had an eye for street photography. This shot looks so clean despite how busy it is.
wow that is one of your best shots to date. It really works as an image.
no doubts.. you are a streetphotographer :)
aaaa Tokyo...the place of pleasant contradictions where modern meets tradition...wonderful photo :)
This is a perfect photograph where the useless one is not reflected.
