These must be very ancient warehouses, probably even dating from late Edo Period. The hooks should be for facilitating the rerouting or extension of wires, though i agree it is indeed quite dangerous to expose whatever insulation there is to the elements like that.

Thanks PlasticTV!
I don't know the exactly date of the buildings, it may be so old. :-)
Straight angles are stright. Nice glimpse of it.
very interesting geometries you've composed here. Another image of yours that delights my eye.
We are far from big buildings here. What are all these things in the wall?
Good patterns and lines in scene.
Thanks Wilson, Aaron, Amande and Raymond!!
I heard that floats for the festival were in these storehouses.
Love the patterns created by the doors and the hooks. I wonder what all those hooks are for?
Thanks Micki!
Umm. I wondered when I went to see, too. It may be electric wires.

Thanks Siri!
So many lovely new photos..i wonder how you find the time.
Very nice, first time I see this kind of electrical wires ;) Isnt it a little bit dangerous? :)
Interesting...I'm also wondering what the hooks(?) are for. Cool shot.
Thanks Karim, Dia and Dave!!
Umm. That's right. If it is electric wires, it is too dangerous. :-)

very clean shot tetsu!
I like it. The starkness and agelessness (is that a word?) reminds me of the Farm Security Administration photos of the early 20th century.
Nice picture. Like the contrast
yes..lovely lines and all the angles and curves

Thanks Samcam, Tuffer, Grainofsand and Zbjernak!!
