Ahh, beautiful silloheute. You can almost see the expressions of the roller-coaster attendees.

> johnh said : Mar 17, 2006 16:04

I like how the 2 rides merge together and the front car looks like it has a dragon or serpent head on it.

love the silouette. a nice capture

> Frank said : Mar 17, 2006 16:29

Looks like fun! Great action shot Tetsu! cheers :)

> Imran said : Mar 17, 2006 16:38

The silhouettes really works in this shot. I just wish it was wider. :)

> Amande said : Mar 17, 2006 19:35

That really looks fun! I agree with Imran : I'd like to see all your pictures bigger when clicking on them. I love to see all the details when I look at a pic :)

Btw did you go for a ride?

> Micki said : Mar 17, 2006 20:11

Great silhouette shot. The sky is just enough in this one.

> carlos said : Mar 17, 2006 21:33

Nice silhouette and composition!

> Mcawilliams said : Mar 17, 2006 22:20

Great action shot the black and white works really nicely in this shot

> emma said : Mar 17, 2006 22:41

just to echo the above - love the silouette and the addition of the big wheel too.

> samcam said : Mar 17, 2006 22:59

Love the silhouttes.. absolutely incredible angle that creates clean contrasts..

Thanks Wilson, Johnh, Asiko, Frank, David, Imran, Amande, Micki, Carlos, Mcawilliams, Emma, Samcam!!!
It is horrible for me to ride a roller coaster unfortunately....

> moeview said : Mar 17, 2006 23:21

Thanks Moeview!

This is a wonderful image both abstract but also just what it is.

> tetsu said : Mar 18, 2006 02:02

Thanks Jeremy!!

> PlasticTV said : Mar 18, 2006 02:25

i prefer this roller coaster shot than the previous. i could almost feel the vehicle go sweeeeeeeeerve across the sky!

> tetsu said : Mar 18, 2006 02:37

Thanks PlasticTV!!
This roller coaster will fall headlong into a hole in the pond soon. :-)

> jasp said : Mar 18, 2006 04:33

Beautifully composed (as usual)

> tobias said : Mar 18, 2006 05:06

Lovely shot. The shadows are wonderful and the composition is spot on.

> Suby said : Mar 18, 2006 08:43

Great silhouette shot. rollercoasters? You could not pay me to get on one, not because I'm scared (actually love them) but sadly they make me ill :(

> tetsu said : Mar 18, 2006 11:20

Thanks Jasp, Tobias and Suby!

> PlasticTV said : Mar 18, 2006 13:03

So it's THAT roller coaster! What a coincidence! i just saw the picture of it plunging into the "hole" in a pond earlier yesterday. :)

> tetsu said : Mar 18, 2006 13:07

Hi PlasticTV!
Did see THAT? Wow!

> Flightless said : Mar 18, 2006 15:02

Very nice shot.

> tetsu said : Mar 18, 2006 17:52

Thanks Flightless!

> Raymond Tse said : Mar 18, 2006 20:20

Nice composition with both the rollercoaster & ferris wheel.

> tetsu said : Mar 18, 2006 20:25

Thanks Raymond!!

> Slackie Onassis said : Mar 19, 2006 12:24

Wow; you've captured the spine of a dragon.

> Slackie Onassis said : Mar 19, 2006 12:30

Also, I like how there's no hint of motion except in the hair of the riders on the dragon's back. Wonderfully shot.

(sorry for the broken link in the last post; firefox busy "helping" me).

> john said : Mar 19, 2006 15:06

Wonderful silhoutte, the clouds compliment it really nicely!

Where was this picture taken? And what shutter speed did you use? :)

ぼくはだいすきです! (I hope my Japanese makes sense, maybe you can correct!)

> Hans said : Mar 19, 2006 20:19

Well timed shot, great shadows and silhouettes. Motion without motion Really like it.

> tetsu said : Mar 19, 2006 22:02

Thanks Slackie, John and Hans!!
This photo was taken in Cosmo park, Yokohama. I don't remember the shutter speed....

> Dennis said : Mar 22, 2006 07:33

The composition works very well for me, the two curves in the picture display a zen-like balance. The fact that is's a sillouhette provides a nice minimalistic feel.

> tetsu said : Mar 22, 2006 12:04

Thanks Dennis!

> Kris said : Apr 3, 2006 18:40

cool shot!

> tetsu said : Apr 4, 2006 03:39
