Interesting shot. I see a mix of different places here. Would love to see the grill work on the bridge up closer. I wouldn't want to be there at night!

Thanks Eric!

So mysterious looking. Great shot. Thanks for the comment on my site. I'll stop by here again :)

always when i get to a new site before i start looking at their images i check out what they shoot with, digital or analog and i get sort of grumpy when there's no record of it since I cant really tell what to think of the image itself ;)

anyway, what DO you shoot with? i like the black and white shots, #296 is great and I assume you shoot with film!

Fine composition, a mix of modern (the background buildings and the foreground rubbish) and charming old-time style (the bridge)

中世ヨーロッパ?
カラス?がますます雰囲気だしちゃってますね!
本当にステキ。
全体のバランスが気持ちよすぎです

Thanks Tomas and Roberman!
I was attracted by the old-like atmosphere of this bridge. And I have only a film camera.

chiicoさん、ありがとうございます!
そうなんです。個人的には鳩がとても気になります...。

It's very hard to explain why some pictures "work", while others don't. Sometimes details distract the eyes and destroy a photo, but in this one the details just echo one another and make the overall picture very telling. If this is a song, i'd say it's Memory from Cats.

This has that eery feeling that I really like.
The bird seems to welcome, but to what world is known only to him!

> tetsu said : Feb 9, 2006 23:51

Thanks Michael!
When you come to the place of the photo, you will be surprised at how the bridge is normal. :-P

A picture full of urban details and comum view. It worked perfectly in B&white. I like this one.

Great shot and composition. You really captured a dark environment. For me, the vertical framing suggests a claustrophic atmosphera, like in some dark comic books. And the bird (luckily a crow?) it could be a reference to E. Allan Poe?

regards

Thanks Siri and Solin!
The bird was a pigeon and it came from 'The Purloined Letter'. :-P
