Picture's graphic with a heavy sky is beautiful. ;)

Simple. Effective. Dramatic. I like it. Regards, Brent

> MikesRightBrain said : Feb 22, 2006 18:32

Very nicely done. Great sharpness; and I really like how muted the light is.

> tetsu said : Feb 22, 2006 19:10

Thanks JLC, Brent and Mike!

I really like this photo. It has a different feel to it that I like. In fact I was flipping through your other pictures and like them too. You kind of remind me of a favorite photographer of mine- Henri Cartier-Bresson. Also, thanks for stopping by my photoblog and telling me what you think.

> tetsu said : Feb 22, 2006 23:53

Thanks Ryan!
Henri Cartier-Bresson is my most favorite photograpger, too. :-)

lovely composition

> katherine said : Feb 23, 2006 03:38

i love the way you use light; it's so unusual. i'm a sucker for black and white anyway, and i particularly like the way you handle it.

> katherine said : Feb 23, 2006 03:52

me again. have you ever visited the Legendes Oubliees photoblog, by Michel Branca? http://imagineur.blog.lemonde.fr/imagineur/

he usually photographs in and around paris. most of his work is in black and white and, like you, he's an artist. i think you'd love his work, and vice versa.

All this BW serie along the tokyo docks and the seaside is beautifull, light is perfect. And this last shot knocks me out. I have french friends that live in Tokyo, and I always thought I could'nt live there. But waching your pictures is making me change my mind...

> tetsu said : Feb 23, 2006 05:48

Thanks Gary, Katherine and Maxime!

Nice. I lived in Odaiba for 2 weeks when I was on holiday there. Most people would take the rainbow bridge, but with this shot you've brought a new perspective to the place.

My english is not very good, so i prefer to write my comment in french. But don't panic, it's not very difficult to translate:
Tes photos sont vraiment très belles ! ;)

> Marcelo Vilares said : Feb 23, 2006 09:54

This photo definitely has impact and the large sky helps! I'm just not sure what your main subject is. Just out of curiosity, what were you trying to capture Tetsu?

Kind regards,
Marcelo Vilares

Another great one!

なんで普通の風景がこんな風に撮れるんですかぁ???
って聞かれても感じですよねw

何気ない風景を情緒あり、更に物語性を
入れられる方が羨ましいです。

alone with the dinosaurs :) i like the grey sky with the dim sun.

> Eric at Paris Daily Photo said : Feb 23, 2006 14:43

Excellent photo. The glimmer off the water and the sun bring the cranes into focus. Also nice to see an industrial type photo with so few people in it.

> tetsu said : Feb 23, 2006 22:22

Thanks Duane!
I think taking photos of Rainbow bridge is too ordinary. :-)

Thanks Dams!
Umm. I want to know what you write however. :-)

Thanks Marcelo!
Though it is small, my subject is a man.

Thanks Micki!

My first visit to a blog. Thank you for such lovely pictures. This reminds me of a very lucky shot I took of a man fish of a pier on Lake Michigan USA.

Thanks Ava!!
