The composition and detail is amazing. I didn't even notice the person until the second time I looked at it! Initially, I was admiring highly detailed stones in some kind of floor, until I saw the person, which completely altered my perspective. Great work!

Thanks Jon-Michael!
I did not notice that stones looked like a stone pavement floor until you told me...
hey, have been surfin ur blog for some time liao.. great shot here.. i love the tonal range and the details u captured here.. the man walkin away makes this shot.. ;p
Hi, Tetsu nice composition It looks like you made a composition of a man and a stonepavement...
I have a question how can you travel so much in so diferent places like Greece/Santorini then Jordan then back tokyo is it cause of your job or something? amazing I would love travel so much....
It is the consistant range of lighting and tones that you achieve that keeps me coming back to view them.
The overall composition is wonderful.
It has a nice detailed, bold feel to it, and somewhat contrasty look, ... I like it!

Thanks Eric, Tasos, Mark and Michael!
I waited someone walking beside the wall. Person in the frame adds a falvor to the photo, I think.
Photos in overseas were taken about 5 years ago. I have traveled 11 months from Tokyo to Germany at that time and I have been Jardan, Greece or other countries during the trip.
seems to be a common occurrence with this photo- we look at it and think it is a close-up of cobblestones and then, upon second glance, notice the person. very unique image!

Wow, you certainly have your own style Tetsu. This is magnificent. The detail is amazing, all those cracks are really well captured. The person adds that human element. You are getting more and more comments these days and quite rightly so!

The stones have a nice texture and feel to them.
The man on the lower left hand side gives a good perspective to the sheer scope of the wall.
This is really nice.

I like the geometrical composition of this shot. The man walking makes it more interesting. Great shot.
Thanks Tom!
Exactly the same thing happened to me as it did to Jon-Michael. Excellent composition. Is that your shadow on the right?
Thanks Gavin!
It isn't my shadow. It's a stain, I guess. I used wide lens, so I stood at least 10m off.

The big rock-bricks look fascinating. You've managed to get a lot of detail too.
Thanks Apurv!
Wow, what a great shot. The contrast is perfect.
Thanks Christopher!
Yes! I am so glad there is a person in there for perspective.
Thanks Casey!
Lots of wonderful photographs. The black and whites are beautiful, simple and elegant. This one particularly struck me.
Thanks Jeremy!
