Wow! Amazing composition. The wide angle lens distorts the lines and curves to a great point. B/W gives a strange feeling on this one. Well done!

I agree, great composition. Also the placement of the rollercoaster leads you through the rest of the photo.

...and the centre of the loop draws in the eye automatically. Very effective.

This is very nice!

when i see this at the first time... i thought there's no people in this photo.but it's not your type...

finally i still could find it ;) that's the power of your photos--the appereance of human being even in the small proportion.

Thanks ViV, Ahamed, Gregor, Paul, Gavin, Jxiong, Otto, Budi and Rabbi!
Do you notice that the ferris wheel has no axles?

> armeen said : Jan 23, 2006 04:44

wow. love the lines and curves in here. great composition.

> Phil said : Jan 23, 2006 05:04

Nice shot - the leading lines are great. My eye has been following the roller coaster from one side of the image to the other.
No axle? I did notice something odd. Is it held up at the sides?

> pooh said : Jan 23, 2006 07:05

dramatic composition, great use of symmetry and lines here.

> Turi said : Jan 23, 2006 10:16

I love Theme Parks and this is quite different from the typical full-of-color photo, good job

> tetsu said : Jan 23, 2006 12:27

Thanks Gary, Armeen, Phil, Pooh and Turi!!
The ferris wheel has only framework and cabins go around along the framework.

Nice shot - I like the composition and the lines. Cheers.

> Jarrett said : Jan 23, 2006 15:04

Wonderful combination of lines and shapes. The totally blank sky makes a perfect backdrop for this scene.

> tetsu said : Jan 23, 2006 16:56

Thanks Dave and Jarrett!

> Eric said : Jan 23, 2006 20:55

the architect/engineer who built the wheel must be a creative one to even think to make one without axles. nice photo tetsu, I can feel the adrenaline rush from people on the coaster :)

> tetsu said : Jan 24, 2006 00:40

Thanks Eric!
I heard their scream. :-)
