Very pretty fall moment. It makes for a very interesting shot that they seem so intent on something out of the frame, and you've chosen to focus on them. Although, it does leave me wondering...what are they looking at? Excellent.

bem, this picture is fabulous.

> Budi said : Dec 22, 2005 13:41

Tetsu, it's so great! I just don't know how to say about your photos. It's not a coincidence you've found me and makes me fall in love with your photos.

Beside of nice in technical-thingy, I like the narrative (story telling) from this photo. Are they your friends?

oh my - such wonderful, fairy-tale tonalities here. Those leaves just pop off the tree.

To me, the photographers seem focused on a far away detail, ironically oblivious to the beauty all around them. "Not seeing the forest through the trees", as the saying in English goes ;)

> tetsu said : Dec 22, 2005 16:37

Thanks Mark, Siri, Budi and Aaron!
Japanese has an identical idiom with "Not seeing the forest through the trees". But I do not know to apply to them. They are utterly strangers for me and I did not care what they were looking... I felt they were just picturesque!

美しいものを撮りたくなった人たちを撮った美しい写真だと思います。光が絶妙ですね。

M.Niijimaさん、ありがとうございます!
僕も彼らと同じようにカメラを持って、ウロウロしています...

A very beautiful photo. I like everything, the B/N, the composition, the frame... Greetings!

> tetsu said : Dec 22, 2005 18:09

Thanks Ricardo!

Blimey Tetsu. You come up with some shots don't you. The light in this imageis almost unreal. It looks like a fim set for Peter Pan or something similar. The leaves are dazzling but not burnt out and the composition to include those photographers is lovely. Perfectly balanced image. Well framed and beautifully captured. I also like the fact that they probably think they are capturing a beautiful image but merely by being there have allowed you to capture a great image, a sense of irony almost...

素晴らしいです!なんともいえませんね。

Great composition! I love the parallel between photo enthusiasts and the angle that was used to capture the event. Scale is fabulous!

わぁ。。なんて素敵な光景。
小さな葉っぱの一枚一枚の陰影までもが生きていますね。
大きな木って力強くて なんだか安心感があって好きです。

コチラは雪ですーー★
素敵なクリスマスを♪

It is great light and there is always something comic about photographers and there strange poses.

Thanks Keith!

wonderful image has a cinematic feel the lighting on the tree is fantastic and the framing is just perfect and the people glinding by in the background makes this feel like an enchanting place

tetsu, I must say... this has got to be my most favorite shot that you've posted thus far.

Do you have a higher quality you don't mind sharing? :)

Shinjyuku gyoen park has various features and I like to stroll in it.

> PlasticTV said : Dec 30, 2005 15:27

Beautiful beautiful beautiful! This is such a gem! Love the completeness of the picture, probably derived from the way you framed it.

> tetsu said : Dec 30, 2005 15:40

Thanks! Thanks! Thanks, PlasticTV!

> tobias said : Dec 30, 2005 23:28

Yes, I'd say either this one or the circular window that you shot. Or maybe the guy leaning out the windo in the cafe. Difficult to choose. I'd certainly say one of your best though. Good luck in photo friday Tetsu!

> tetsu said : Dec 31, 2005 00:43

I also worried about which photo was the best of mine....
